10 Worst Celebrity Endorsements

The Kardashian Credit Card...no thanks

The Kardashian Card

As if the market isn't already inundated with Kardashian endorsed products, the reality TV stars teamed up with Mastercard to create a line of credit that was marketed for teenagers. You know, because the Kardashians are models of financial responsibility.

Jerry Seinfeld
Jerry Seinfeld for Microsoft
Apparently Bill Gates was a huge Seinfeld fan, but the rest of the country wasn't so fond of the awkward commercials Jerry did for Microsoft--which befuddlingly enough didn't say much about the company's newest (and arguably worst) software release for Vista. Both the commercial and the product tanked.

Racheal Ray
Rachel Ray for Dunkin Donuts
Who knew a scarf could cause such a stir? Doughnut-maker Dunkin Donuts pulled this ad featuring TV chef Rachel Ray after a fury of complaints that the scarf shown in the commercials was the same as that worn by Yassir Arafat and that the star was thereby supporting Muslim extremism and terrorism. Yeah, we think this is stupid, too.

Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton for Hardee's/Carl Jr.'s
This ad for the new Spicy BBQ $6 burger at fast food chain Hardee's/Carl Jr.'s featured socialite Paris Hilton, who has nothing to do with food or the Bentley she's washing in the ad, but everything to do with the fact that the commercial was shot almost like a soft-core porn.

Madonna
Madonna for Pepsi
Pepsi probably should have asked to see Madonna's as-yet unreleased music video for "Like a Prayer" before they decided to use the song in their $5 million endorsement deal with the singer in 1989. When the video came out a week later with scenes of the Pop star getting racy with a priest and showing signs of stigmata, Pepsi quickly pulled their ad.

The Situation
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino - for anything but A & F
The Situation seems to love Abercrombie & Fitch, but the brand was less than enthused to see the Jersey Shore star decked out in their wares while he was drinking, "smushing," and generally douchebagging his way through each episode of the MTV series. Instead of paying him to endorse their brand, the company offered him a "large sum" to wear anything but A & F in what could be the most amusing case of paid un-endorsement in history.

Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant
McDonald's, Nutella, and Sprite all wanted to cash in on the Kobe Bryant bandwagon ... until the NBA star was charged with sexual assault. Needless to say, neither of these brands were lovin' it anymore, and they all terminated their contracts with Bryant.

Tiger Woods in a Buick
Tiger Woods for Buick
What does Tiger Woods have to do with cars? And why was he driving a Buick when we all know the man had enough money for a Bentley - or five.

Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson for Pepsi
Pepsi's endorsement deal with Michael Jackson went up in flames in 1984--along with the Prince of Pop's hair and scalp--when the pyrotechnics got a little out of control during the commercial's shooting. Pepsi lost their endorsement and settled the resulting lawsuit for $1.5 million.

Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan Ultimate Grill
Not only did George Foreman already beat former WWF champ Hulk Hogan to the grilling empire years ago, but Hulk's grill was recalled because it tended to catch fire when used with cooking sprays and oils. Because no one uses those anymore.

McDonald's SALADS are more fattening than their burgers

You can see for yourself in their nutrition facts. A hamburger at McDonald's has 9 grams of fat. A cheeseburger has 12 grams of fat. The Premium Caesar salad with crispy chicken has 17 grams of fat. The Premium Southwest Salad with crispy chicken and the Premium Bacon Ranch Salad with crispy chicken both have 20 grams of fat.

On top of that, SALAD DRESSING adds EVEN MORE fat. If you want to add Creamy Southwest Dressing, it's 6 more grams of fat. The Ranch Dressing has 15 grams of fat. The Creamy Caesar Dressing has 18 grams of fat. So, if you get a salad with crispy chicken and salad dressing, you could be consuming 35 grams of fat - the fat equivalent of 4 hamburgers.

People who laugh a lot are much healthier than those who don't

Dr. Lee Berk at the Loma Linda School of Public Health in California found that laughing lowers levels of stress hormones, and strengthens the immune system.

Laughter increases levels of a hormone called beta-endorphines (which elevates mood state) by 27% and increases human growth hormone by 87%. Human growth hormone (HGH) is used to treat patients with hormone deficiencies and has been shown to improve the immune system, bone and muscle mass, and reduces body fat. This is the same hormone that athletes use to improve their athletic performance in their sports.

Laughter also has been shown to reduce levels of three stress hormones: cortisol, dopac, and epinephrine. Epinephrine is also known as adrenaline, the hormone that triggers the "fight-or-flight" response when we are afraid. At chronic levels, these three hormones can harm the immune system's function as well as contribute to other detrimental health effects.

Berk also found that mirthful laughter raised good cholesterol and lowered inflammation during a test of the effects of laughter on diabetic patients.

How to Survive a Heart Attack

NOW HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE..

Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously.A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.

A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating.
The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.

Semen Contains a lot of Calories

One tablespoon of semen has approximately 20 calories. Semen also contains zinc and calcium which helps prevent tooth decay.

One typical ejaculation contains 150 mg of protein, 11 mg of carbohydrates, 6 mg fat, 3 mg cholesterol, 7% US RDA potassium and 3% US RDA copper and zinc. The protein content is roughly equivalent to that found in one egg white. Also, women physically exposed to semen are less likely to suffer from depression. The ingesting of it is called 'spermophagia'. Studies suggest that seminal plasma both prevents and fights cancer, particularly breast cancer.

Anatidaephobia

Anatidaephobia is the fear that somewhere in the world there is a duck watching you.
